Physics

I have primarily worked on two topics in physics. One is in the area of ultracold atoms, and the other is in the area of nanophotonics. Both are broadly under the field of atomic, molecular and optical (AMO) physics. With ultracold atoms, my goal was to gain a fundamental understanding of quantum phenomena with potential applications in the realization of quantum computers. With nanophotonics, my goal was to create new nanophotonic devices with potential applications in optical telecommunications and data communications. Follow the links below to learn more about each of these areas.
